2. Standard Cancellation Policy
Our standard cancellation policy applies to most flexible rate bookings:
2.1 Individual Reservations
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before arrival date: Full refund with no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival date: One night's room charge plus applicable taxes.
- No-shows: Charged for the first night's stay plus applicable taxes.
2.2 Groups and Events
For group bookings (5 or more rooms) and events, specific cancellation policies will be outlined in your group contract. Typically, these include:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund of any deposits.
- Cancellations made 15-29 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value.
- Cancellations made 0-14 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking value.
3. Non-Refundable Rates
For reservations made under our "Non-Refundable" or "Advance Purchase" rates:
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- These reservations cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded regardless of the circumstances.
- The full amount will be charged even in case of no-show or early departure.
These rates typically offer significant savings compared to our flexible rates in exchange for the reduced flexibility.
4. Seasonal and Special Event Periods
During high-demand periods (such as holidays, local events, or peak season), more restrictive cancellation policies may apply:
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival: Full refund with no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 3-6 days before arrival: 50% of the total stay.
- Cancellations made 0-2 days before arrival or no-shows: 100% of the total stay.
The specific cancellation policy for these periods will be clearly communicated during the reservation process.
5. Modifications to Reservations
5.1 Date Changes
Changes to reservation dates are subject to availability and may result in rate changes:
- If the new stay dates are available, the rate may be adjusted to reflect current pricing for those dates.
- If the modification shortens the stay within the cancellation penalty period, cancellation fees may apply to the cancelled night(s).
- Date changes for non-refundable rates are generally not permitted.
5.2 Room Type Changes
Changes to room types are subject to availability and rate adjustments:
- Upgrades may incur additional charges based on the price difference.
- Downgrades may result in partial refunds, depending on the rate difference and the timing of the change.
5.3 Adding or Reducing Nights
- Adding nights is subject to availability and current rates.
- Reducing nights may be subject to the cancellation policy for the removed night(s).
6. Early Departure
If you check out earlier than your scheduled departure date:
- For flexible rates, you may be charged for one additional night beyond your actual departure date.
- For non-refundable rates, no refund will be provided for unused nights.
- Notify the front desk at least 24 hours before your new departure date to minimize charges.
7. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (extraordinary circumstances beyond your control such as severe weather events, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, etc.):
- We will work with you to reschedule your stay without penalty when possible.

In the event of the death of an immediate family member:

- Cancellation fees may be waived with appropriate documentation.

To cancel or modify a reservation, please use one of the following methods:
- Online: Log in to your Sylverique account or use the link provided in your confirmation email.

- Email: Send your cancellation or modification request to [email protected], including your reservation number.
Please retain your cancellation confirmation number for your records.
10. Refund Processing
For eligible refunds:
- Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Wire transfer refunds may take 10-15 business days.
11. Third-Party Bookings
If you booked through a travel agent, online travel agency (such as Expedia, Booking.com), or other third party:
- You must cancel or modify your reservation through the same booking channel.
- The third party's cancellation policy applies, which may differ from our direct booking policy.
- Refunds for these bookings are processed by the third party, not directly by Sylverique.
